Concrete Forming Panels
Universal Forest Products offers a variety of concrete-forming panels in standard and custom sizes for all of your construction needs.
Our MDO panels are designed for multipour (10-15 pours per panel), repetitive applications. Their matte-finish concrete surface readily accepts paint. These certified panels are available in one- and two-sided compositions and may be cut-to-size to your specifications.
Universal provides HDO panels that have a paintable, architectural finish. They are available in an array of overlay configurations, with 100/30 and 100/100 being the most common. These multi-pour (20-40 pours per panel) concrete forming panels are certified and can be cut to size.
We also offer BBOES SYP/BP panels, a raw, wood-surface panel used in 75-80% of all concrete work. These panels are best used when a finish is not critical, as they yield a coarse, wood-grain finish. For practical performance, these concrete-forming panels are the economical choice.
Phenolic architectural forming panels from Universal Forest Products provide a high quality architectural concrete finish. Each panel’s surface is smooth, glossy and abrasion resistant, making it a perfect choice when finish is critical. Manufactured using state of the art technology, our panels are composed of 1.4 mm rotary cut artic white birch veneers, with a 220g/m2 phenolic surface film that is thermally bonded to the core. To protect against moisture, all edges are factory sealed.
Phenolic film faced forming panels can be FSC-certified for your LEED® projects. These concrete forming panels are durable, waterproof-coated and are capable of enduring multiple pours. These phenolic film face forming panels provide a matte finish with virtually no grain or patch transfer to the concrete surface. Each panel’s surface is smooth, glossy and abrasion resistant, making it a perfect choice when finish is critical.
